Bagasse Takeaway Food Containers
Bagasse food Containers are 100% plant based made from sugarcane are Disposable, Compostable and Biodegradable. Manufactured from 100% sugarcane fibre. Suitable for hot, wet and oily foods. Perfect for kebabs or salads and other street food servings. Bagasse takeaway boxes are white and textured feel on the outside of the boxes and a smooth finish on the inside making it easy to eat food and gives resistance to sauces and oil from food. The bagasse packaging is designed for food service then eaten straight away and not for food to be stored or displayed in for long periods of time. The bagasse sugarcane also provides fantastic heat insultation and can keep food warm for your consumers whilst being taken away or delivered. The hinged lids have a tab closure which makes the boxes secure, however this will not create a seal to the base and any liquids, sauces or oil in the base when tipped on its side will leak out.
What is Bagasse Containers?
Bagasse Containers is a by product of making sugar, when sugarcane stalks are harvested, they are pressed to extract their juices. Which then gets processed into sugar. This leaves behind a dry fibrous substance. Using a high heat and pressure process this material is then moulded into various containers and tableware such as bowls and plates.
What is Bagasse Suitable For?
Suitable for hot, wet and oily foods, it holds liquids very well and is naturally grease and cut resistant, It’s also heat tolerant up to 95C and can even be put in the microwave or the freezer
